Treasury Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Cash and liquidity management; processing of transactions, FX transactions

  • Developing and updating treasury policy frameworks and process description for treasury, and maintaining compliance with other internal policies

  • Quick adoption and further coordination of existing payment methods within the Group

  • Bank communications

  • Representing treasury requirements in cooperation with other financial and project teams on projects related to treasury

  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario simulations, including month-end reporting

  • Managing project financing facilities and loans, including management of documentation

  • Cooperating on and enhancing the rolling 13-week cash flow forecast process

  • Managing foreign exchange and reporting

  • Managing intercompany transactions and intercompany borrowing processes, reporting, and documentation

  • Performing treasury operations activities

  • Orchestrating communication with companies within the Group in terms of reporting cash flow and cash forecasting, in order to propose improvements (technical/organisational) to this area

  • Recommending and supporting the execution of financing and working capital improvement plans

  • Preparing presentations for executives, lenders, rating agencies, etc.

  • Supporting special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree, preferably in Economics

  • At least 7 years of experience in a similar position in a corporate treasury or bank

  • Proactive, with a “can do” attitude and strong communication skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Excellent MS Office skills

  • Experience in working with any type of Treasury Management System is an advantage

  • Ability to work independently on treasury related projects

  • Experience with financial/accounting ERP module is a great advantage

  • Understanding basic principles of financial operations´ booking

  • Experience with people management (small teams of 4-8 people)

  • Project financing knowledge is an advantage, including structures and details of loan documentation and bank reporting

  • Very good knowledge of banking products and services in lending, cash management and treasury

  • Czech (fluent) and English (B2+); any other CEE language is a strong advantage
